Shakespeare's Globe Trust

Shakespeare's Globe Trust is an educational charity dedicated to the experience and international understanding of Shakespeare in performance. Uniquely its work celebrates the fact that the greatest dramatic poet of the English language lived and worked in London, and that the cradle of English theatre was on Bankside by the River Thames.

In giving to Shakespeare's Globe you are supporting one of the most prestigious and important arts and education centres in the country. Globe Education works with over 100,000 people a year through a series of workshops, seminars and classes. It is through your generous support that these projects can evolve and flourish, bringing an understanding of Shakespeare both to local schools in Southwark and others, across the country.

The Globe Theatre Company stages a stunning season of plays each year from April to October. Whether you are an individual wishing to become a patron or make a donation, or a company seeking sponsorship opportunities, your support is invaluable to our continuing efforts to deliver exceptional plays to the widest possible audience.
